Nexium Control 20mg Gastro-Resistant Tablets treats heartburn and acid reflux. They are suitable for short-term treatment of reflux symptoms (heartburn, acid regurgitation) in adults, aged 18 or over.
Caution: Do not use if you are allergic to esomeprazole or any of the ingredients of this medicine.
How to use:
Read the package leaflet before use
Take one tablet once a day. Do not exceed this dose
The tablets should be swallowed whole. Do not chew or crush the tablets
May take 2-3 days for full effect
If your symptoms worsen or do not improve after taking this medicine for 14 days in a row, contact your doctor.

Esomeprazole is effective in the treatment of heartburn and acid regurgitation (heartburn that is a result of excessive acid production). It works by decreasing the amount of acid that is produced in the stomach.
It is not recommended to take Nexium for more than 14 days in a row.
Contact your doctor or health care provider right away if you are taking any of the following medicines:
- Amyl nitrite
- Itraconazole nitrite
- Straint approved proton pump inhibitor (PPI) medicines such as alutamide or ketoconazole
- Antacids containing magnesium or aluminum as active ingredients
- High-calorie, low-fat diet
- Calcium-containing supplements
- Colperinelline
- Quinidine
- Fish oil
- Other
Inform your doctor if you are suffering from serious side effects such as stomach or kidney problems, yellowing of the skin or eyes, kidney impairment, clear prostatica (c leakage of urine), sick stomach, severe dizziness, or difficulty in breathing. These effects could be severe or life-threatening.
Nexium Control is not recommended for use in children below 18 years of age. Keep out of reach of children.

Zinc is a trace mineral that is mineralized in enclosed tablets. Always check the levels of zinc in your blood after taking Nexium Control.
Before taking this medicine:
Take as directed by your doctor. Check the ingredients to be supplied.
Take the full course of treatment as prescribed. Continue to take treatment for the prescribed length of time, even if you feel better.
Do not exceed 14 days in a row.
Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any complementary medicines.
Nexium Control is not recommended for use in pregnant women. Always consult your doctor or pharmacist before you driving or using any machines or operating machinery.
Nexium Control Tablets 20mg is used to treat symptoms of heartburn and acid reflux. It contains esomeprazole magnesiumClavar Handling, a proton pump inhibitor, and proton pump inhibitor from Dr Fox brand of NEXIUM Control. This medication is also used to treat reflux symptoms in children and adolescents aged 12 years and over. Swallow the tablet whole with a drink of water. You may take 20mg of esomeprazole with each main meal during your treatment. Do not take more than 1 tablet in a 24 hour period. You may not take more than 24 hours before or before your meal to treat heartburn. The duration of treatment depends on your condition and the severity of your heartburn. Continue to use this medication for as long as your doctor prescribes it. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to the normal schedule of treatment. Do not take 2 doses at once to make up for a schedule that is too bad for you!
